It's the dish you've been waiting for. Overcooked! 2 is now on Nintendo Switch 2, too. Too much? Well, too bad. There's more to this announcement.

You'll knead to argue – erm, I mean work together – with your favorite frenemy to cook your way through the Onion Kingdom using your handy dandy food van.

What's different about the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Overcooked! 2?

The upgraded Nintendo Switch 2 version of the Ghost Town Games and Team17 title features:

  • Enhanced graphics that are on par with the PC experience
  • Up to 4K 60FPS gameplay when docked
  • Camera capability which will allow you to see each other's faces above your respective characters as you play.
  • A new member in the kitchen crew: Platinum Platypus

The game is also backwards compatible. That means you'll be able to play with someone using the Nintendo Switch version of the game, use any downloadable content (DLC) that you already own, and access your save files from both versions of the game as progression can be transferred between both platforms.

How much will the game cost?

An Overcooked! reality TV show

Netflix and film giant A24 are teaming up to cook up a reality competition cooking show that will embody the flames of the Overcooked! franchise.

We don't know what all is on the menu but we do know that A24 recently acquired the rights. The show is currently in development with Gemma Langford, Oli De-Vine, and Phil Duncan as the executive chefs (producers). While A24 is no stranger to taking on the obscure, this marks the studio's first time pursuing a video game adaptation.
