I was poking around the Pixio website when I spotted something wonderful....

Pixio is planning a release for Metallic Pink Gold (aka Rose Gold) and Champagne Gold Monitors. Naturally, my next step was to reach out to Pixio and ask if they had an estimated release date.

They said no. ☹️

But, do not fret, I have a strong hypothesis of when we'll see these drops.

When Will the Metallic Pink Gold and Champagne Gold Drop?

I charted all of Pixio's initial releases alongside their later expansions, as well as the time gap between those two.

It's important to note that the Metallic Pink Gold and Champagne Gold aren't new monitors. They're being marketed as "Metallic Editions," under the Color Drops section of Pixio's website. So, let's pay special attention to how they dropped their expanded colors in the past.

As you can see on the chart, in September 2025, they dropped the Decora Angel and Devil editions alongside the Yellow colorway. Keep that in mind as we keep moving forward.

Fast forward to present day, March 2026. The PX249 Wave opened pre-orders on the 12th. If Pixio follows the same rhythm they used with the Decora drop, you're looking at roughly a six-month window from launch to special edition.

That puts the Metallic Editions debuting in Fall 2026. Likely, September or October. And, based on how retailers love to launch during the holidays, I'd say this is very likely.

You see, many holiday shoppers start their shopping the day after Halloween, so retailers like to get their product in your mind right before then.

Also, these Metallic monitors are perfect colors for the holiday season to purchase for the geeky girly girl in your life – the Charmed Geek, if you will.

I recognize that this isn't a lot of data to go off of so there's a possibility that I'm off. However, if I am right, that means you'll likely start seeing influencers posting their Pink Gold (Rose Gold) and Champagne Gold setups in late summer, early fall, leading up to a big announcement in September or October.
