I have a new life goal: gain enough influence and followers so that this company will fly me out and let me pilot this Gundam. The first thing I'll say in the cockpit?
This hand of mine glows with an awesome POWER! Its burning grip tells me to defeat you! Take this! My love, my Anger, and all of my SORROW!

But I'm getting ahead of myself. Allow me to introduce you to Archax. Inspired by the Gundam series and currently under development by Tsubami Hi in Japan, Archax has a human shaped cockpit and lots of 3D printed parts.
The robot stands approximately 15 feet tall, weighs roughly 3.5 tons and has two modes, Running and Vehicle. In Running Mode, its four legs pull in to form legs in the front and back of you while you run away using front wheel drive. In Vehicle Mode its legs spread into a shape that resembles a traditional car, and you can drive around using rear wheel drive.
Inside the cockpit you'll find a steel frame loaded with touch display and can view the world by switching between the nine different cameras mounted on the robot's iron frame. There are two pedals and two joysticks to control the Gundam.

In a way it's also a Transformer. ∙ Photos by Tsubami Hi
But hold your horse power! This isn't the flying, ultra maneuverable super robot of your Power Ranger dreams just yet. All of this is powered by a DC300V battery and the machine's top speed currently stalls out at a whopping ~6.5 MPH.
Now as far as how much this will cost, who they will sell it to, and when we can expect the finished model... we just don't know yet. Tsubami hasn't made that information public as of now.
Let's just hope we avoid the military parts of the Gundam storyline altogether and these bad boys are instead used for construction, world betterment & fulfilling one little girl's dream of piloting a Gundam. (It's me, I'm the little girl).
