In an X post that has been viewed over 16 million times, Miyamoto, Nintendo's Director, confirmed the lead actors for the impending live-action The Legend of Zelda movie.
The titular role of Zelda will be played by Bo Bragason, and the main protagonist, Link. will be play ed by Benjamin Evan Ainsworth.

"This is Miyamoto," the post reads. "I am pleased to announce that for the live-action film of The Legend of Zelda, Zelda will be played by Bo Bragason-san, and Link by Benjamin Evan Ainsworth-san. I am very much looking forward to seeing both of them on the big screen.
"The film is scheduled to be released in theaters on May 7, 2027. Thank you for your patience."
In just one year, one of the largest game franchises will step into the big screen. I believe this is huge and has the ability to rival other fantasy franchises like Lord of the Rings.
