ICYMI – Infinity Nikki Version 1.5 launched last week, and it also became available in the Steam store. It brought with it a buttload of updates and a ton of bugs (speaking from personal experience). But the bugs aren't what's bugging its players, it's the money.

Infinity Nikki is the latest to enter the realm of gacha games – games that rely on players to "pull" for a chance to collect items at random. In Infinity Nikki that translates to outfit pieces. Prior to the update, a 5-star rated outfit would be 9-10 pieces each, which would cost 180-200 pulls to get all the pieces. Now, the outfits are 11 pieces. That means it costs 220 pulls or 26,400 diamonds (one of the game's currencies) to collect.

If you are a player using real world money to purchase diamonds, that means one outfit will run you ~$300.

According to PC Gamer, Chinese players have been spamming reviews on Steam, telling Western players not to play and to not accept this, accusing InFold (the game developer) of being sneaky and greedy.
