According to Windows Central's Jez Corden, undisclosed sources have shared the longer-term goal for Xbox's Game Pass is to reveal a "build-your-own" model. Similar to choosing cable packages, you would be able to select the blocks of games you'd like to be as a part of your plan.
Corden also shared that recent API updates show two new codenames for upcoming pass plans: "Duet" and "Triton." There could even be bundle options with external streaming services such as Netflix.
Early reactions to the news shows that gamers would be receptive.
